Collinson Group
1,000+ employees inspired to take ownership of their careers in just one keynote.
Client Challenge/Opportunity:
As Collinson prepared to launch its first global Career Month, anticipation was high. This was a moment to inspire over 1,000 employees to take stock of their growth and own their journey. They knew they wanted to do more than just tick a box. They wanted to spark genuine reflection and action.
With the theme Own Your Journey, they invited Antoinette Oglethorpe to deliver the opening keynote, setting the tone for four weeks of growth, development, and conversation.
Solution delivered:
Antoinette’s COMPASS keynote guided participants through a powerful and personal journey, encouraging them to define success on their own terms, reflect on what truly matters, and take ownership of their next steps.
The session was delivered globally to colleagues across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas, kicking off the company’s most ambitious people initiative of the year.
Outcomes/Results:
Participants shared reflections across chat and breakout boards, describing the session as eye-opening, motivating, and personally relevant. The personal storytelling really resonated with them.
The keynote reminded employees that ownership isn’t about sweeping change. It’s about taking small, consistent steps that lead to lasting growth.
Additional Resources:
Antoinette’s keynote drew from her award-nominated book, Confident Career Conversations, and introduced elements of her proprietary COMPASS framework—a practical tool to help employees gain Clarity, take Ownership, develop the right Mindset, and move forward.
The keynote was recorded so that Collinson employees from all geographies and timezones could access it.
