Chartered Insurance Institute

Over 100 HR and industry professionals gained practical tools to have career conversations that engage and retain talent.

Client: Chartered Insurance Institute (CII)
Sector: Professional body for insurance and financial services

Client challenge/opportunity:

With the insurance and financial services sector evolving rapidly, the Chartered Insurance Institute wanted to help its members build stronger engagement and retention strategies. They invited Antoinette to share practical tools and techniques to make career conversations more meaningful — and more effective.

Solution delivered:

Antoinette was invited to speak at the CII Learning & Development Forum on Talent Management. Through her engaging session Career Conversations – for Managers and Individuals, Antoinette introduced the Career Conversation Toolkit — a simple, powerful resource that helps leaders have meaningful career conversations in as little as 15 minutes.

Through interactive activities, Antoinette demonstrated how quality career conversations can help employees take ownership of their development, increase engagement, and prevent costly talent loss.

Outcomes/results:

  • Delegates explored real-life scenarios using toolkit questions to spark insight and action.
  • Managers and HR professionals left with practical techniques to apply immediately in their workplaces.
  • The session helped shift the perception of career development from being organisation-led to employee-owned, a vital mindset change in today’s dynamic workplace.
