ENGAGEMENT

What is Mentoring? Launch Event

Help prospective mentors and mentees understand what mentoring is and the benefits it can bring

Different people have very different ideas about what mentoring is. Unrealistic expectations about what mentoring can achieve can undermine its effectiveness. Confusion about roles and responsibilities can lead to disappointment and dissatisfaction.

Our What is Mentoring? Event will help prospective mentors and mentees understand what mentoring involves. They will discover how it can benefit them and how it can add value to the organisation.

What is the What Is Mentoring? Launch Event?

An interactive session to attract interested colleagues (mentors and mentees) to the Programme. It will provide an overview of the structure and expected benefits, and to answer questions.

What are the benefits?

As a result of this session, prospective mentors and mentees will:
1. Be clear on what mentoring is/involves
