A defining moment of my career was when I helped start up Avanade, a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft. That was the inspiration behind my first book, “Grow Your Geeks – A Handbook for Developing Leaders in High-Tech Organisations.”
I was named Best Coach in the Best Business Woman Awards 2019 and Best Business Woman in the SME MK and Buckinghamshire Awards 2020.

My work is multi-national and so am I. My father was Irish and my mother was Australian. I was born and brought up in London but am a Geordie by marriage. Maybe it’s no wonder I love to travel.
I am passionate about people and travel. I love to learn about different places and cultures.
Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

The one thing I love most about the work I do is the feeling I get when I help clients to realise their potential and become the best that they can be! If I can in any small way facilitate that learning then I am happy.

My key value is being helpful and this is a major driver of all that I do – happily it is also one of our key values at AO Ltd!
A leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled they will say ‘We did it ourselves’. I love this quote because it resonates as a leader, a parent or as a facilitator!

Oona's response to my requirements was impressive from the outset… I really enjoyed working with Oona and loved that she stretched my thinking and helped us create a business fit for growth. Thank you!

I love working at AO Ltd on so many levels – I am drawn to the five core values that underpin AO Ltd, as they reflect aspects of work and life that I deem important. Antoinette personally embodies these core values of the organisation she has created, clearly leading the team by example. Whilst we work together virtually, we are a connected community who are all passionate about supporting our clients, and each other, in a solutions focused way.

Katie Browne is very experienced in multi-cultural business initiatives. Katie has helped our group over the past 3 years in building simple solutions for complex problems. Her positive energy and attention to detail combined with her global experience make her a real asset on any international focused project.
My husband and I have had the opportunity to move quite a lot with work and we love exploring the culture, history, entertainment, food, and environment that we find ourselves in, from city living to the more relaxed pace of the countryside. We are lucky enough to share that all with a wonderful and slightly hyperactive cocker spaniel called Jäger, who also tries to sit in and ‘add’ value to team Zoom meetings!
A personal passion for me is family and friendship – and all the connectivity, support, mentoring, learning, travelling, and being part of something special that is encompassed in those two things.
I think probably kindness is my number one attribute in a human being. I’ll put it before any of the things like courage or bravery or generousity or anything else… Kindness - that simple word. To be kind - it covers everything to my mind. If you’re kind that’s it.

Gwen is the Mary Poppins of the digital world, practically perfect in every way. She’s an extremely motivating person to speak to and has certainly driven myself and our online team to achieve so much more than we’d ever manage alone.
Family comes first in everything I do. I have a small but perfectly formed family and they’re at the heart of anything I do. I LOVE to travel, and spend my off time trying to cram in as many new places and experiences as I can.
Animals and food, simple! I love animals, mine, other people’s, any animals really. That and a bit of serious eating is my personal passion.
