Antoinette Oglethorpe Ltd was founded on 1 April 2012.  That means today is our tenth anniversary. Wow! What a milestone. A lot has happened in that time.  It’s a great opportunity to reflect on those ten years and to celebrate our successes.  So, if you’ll indulge me, this post is about us and what we see as our top 10 achievements over the past 10 years.

1. Our clients

We have the honour and privilege of working with wonderful people in fantastic organisations. They are well-known organisations, often global.  They include private sector clients like Zurich Insurance; public sector clients like NHS Herts Valley and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Services.  We also work with several UN and international agencies including UNDP, UNESCO, UNHCR, and the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Our workshops have helped people all over the world to realise their potential and fulfil their ambitions.

3. Our Certified Facilitators

We have Certified Facilitators all over the world delivering our programmes in their own organisations.

4. Our programmes

Our programmes have been recognised by the Institute of Leadership and Management and achieve an average net promoter score of 9.2.

5. Our global reach

Antoinette Oglethorpe Ltd. is now an international business. We have clients on every continent. And, before the pandemic, we had great fun visiting them!

6. Our international team

To meet the growing demand from clients, Team AO has expanded from Antoinette operating as a solo consultant to a strong team of seven.  We have team members in the UK, France, Austria and South Africa. Between us we speak English, French, German, Spanish and Arabic.

8. Our thought leadership

We are seen as thought leaders in the areas of career management and mentoring. Antoinette’s bestselling book, Grow Your Geeks: A Handbook for Developing Leaders in High-Tech Organisations is available in paperback, kindle and audio formats. We have helped thousands of people through the content we freely share in blogs, ebooks, webinars and events.

9. Our charitable giving

We are committed to making a positive difference to the world and the communities in which we live. Every year we deliver a pro bono programme for a worthwhile charity. Last year, we delivered “Mentoring for Success” for a group of mentors from Meet Mentors to help them support talented youth in Africa. This year, we delivered “Confident Career Conversations” for Make-a-Wish UK.

10. Our awards

We are honoured to have won and been shortlisted for several awards for business and service excellence.
